Seniors are currently holding their annual mulch sale to raise money for senior activities including the senior banquet, prom and graduation.
Each bag of mulch costs $5 and will be delivered free of charge April 14 -15 for orders of 12 or more bags to zip codes 20854, 20817, 20852, 20850 and 20878. Orders not eligible for delivery can be picked up at CHS. The deadline for order forms is March 19.
In addition to mailing an order form, parents can now order mulch online for an additional 5 cents per bag.
“This is the first year ordering with a credit card is an option,” said Class of 2012 sponsor Jennifer Lubenetski. “We are hoping this will increase sales.”
According to senior vice president Brenna Means, black dyed mulch will now be offered in addition to the traditional triple-shredded hardwood.
