Congratulations to junior Danny Welch, who won second place and a $500 cash prize in the national “Energize Students’ Anti-Bullying” video contest. Welch began creating mini-films recreationally in eighth grade and has since developed a passion for filmmaking.
“It was a lot of fun making the video, and going through the whole creative process,” Welch said. “I hope to attend a film school for movie making after I graduate.”
