The CHS wrestling team hopes to start off its 2012-2013 season in a big way.
CHS lost several seniors to graduation, but the team does not think its winning ability will be hindered by their absence. Several upperclassmen have stepped up and hope to make an impact on the team’s record in place of the graduates. Every wrestler has his sights set on a winning record by at least the end of the season and some hope for more, including champion junior wrestler Hunter Sutton.
“For me, the goal is to go undefeated and win my third state title,” state champion wrestler junior Hunter Sutton said. “I think the players to look out for on our team are junior Adama Kieta, sophomore Alec Mcgee, junior Zach Raizon and senior Matt Schleslecker.”
