What did your group do to prepare for your win?
We practiced for a month. Each practice lasted an hour or so to prepare and practice with the band.
What did you think of the competition?
We thought it was a really good opportunity to play and it was an important event to help. Save the Children is an important organization and we were glad we could help.
What do you plan on doing now that you are Churchill’s most talented?
We are going to prepare for our next performance, which is Mr. Churchill. That was our prize for winning Churchill’s Got Talent.
What did your band do at the talent show?
Bass Guitar-Alex Leventer
Electric Guitar-Amin Stephenson
Keyboard and Singing- Josh Coyne
Drums-John Klien
Trumpet-Andrew Shebest
2 Saxophone 1. Will Nulhern 2.Nadim Elhage
Are you planning on competing next year?
No, we will not because half the band is seniors that are graduating this year; so we are losing half the band.
How many rehearsals were there?
We’ve been rehearsing for about a month in preparation for Churchill’s Got Talent.
How did you first form a band?
We have all been friends for a long time and we are all in jazz band except for Josh [Coyne]. Alex Levanter was the one whose idea it was to form a band.
What would you say to others who wish to start a band, any advice?
It is really fun but its also hard work. A big band is especially hard because you have to coordinate practice with so many people, and it makes things difficult. If you have less people in your band it makes coordinating practices and rehearsals easier to do.
How did you come up with your name?
To represent us as a whole. Our name best represents our band as a whole.
