CHS Ranked #1 in M.D., #75 in U.S.

CHS was recently ranked the number one high school in the state of Maryland and the 75th best high school in the U.S. by US News and World Report’s 2017 High School Rankings.
CHS additionally earned a gold medal and was ranked number 108 in National STEM High Schools. The well-known annual high school rankings are based on student performance on standardized and state required tests, graduation rates and college readiness.
According to US News and World Report, only 500 schools earn a gold medal, and MD has the highest percentage of gold and silver medal earning schools. The second and third best high schools in the state of MD are Thomas S. Wootton High School and Poolesville High School.
