Congratulations to the Observer for winning several Baltimore Student Media’s High School Media awards. The Observer placed first for Best News Story, Best Arts/Feature Story and Best Use of Social Media, and also placed in multiple categories, including Best Overall Website, Best Page 1 Design, Best Informational Illustration and Best Video. Baltimore Student Media, located on the Towson University campus, is a non-profit corporation that supports student journalism in Maryland through mentoring, contests and scholarships.
